The FT-WQX7 Miniature sensor can monitor seven meteorological standard parameters, including ambient temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, and illumination/total radiation flux. It can realize 24-hour continuous online monitoring of outdoor meteorological parameters and output these seven parameters at one time through a digital communication interface. The design of the hidden ultrasonic probe on the top cover avoids the accumulation of rain and snow and the blockage of natural wind, ensuring accurate measurement and has obtained a utility model patent. It emits continuous variable-frequency ultrasonic signals and detects wind speed and direction by measuring the relative phase, and has obtained an invention patent.
This sensor integrates seven elements into one unit, featuring a compact structure. By adopting advanced sensing technology, it can perform real-time measurement without the requirement of starting wind speed, and accurately measure data under various wind speed conditions. It is equipped with a watchdog circuit and an automatic reset function, having strong anti-interference ability. The highly integrated design makes it free of moving parts, resulting in zero wear and tear and requiring no maintenance or on-site calibration. Made of ASA engineering plastic, it will not change color even after years of outdoor application, and has good weather resistance and anti-aging performance. The standard output signal of the product is an RS485 communication interface (MODBUS protocol), and optional interfaces such as 232, USB, and Ethernet are available, supporting real-time data reading. A wireless transmission module can also be optionally configured to achieve remote wireless data transmission. The probe adopts a snap-fit design, solving the problem of looseness and inaccuracy during transportation and installation.
In terms of technical parameters, the wind speed measurement range is 0 to 70m/s, with an accuracy of ±0.1m/s; the wind direction measurement range is 0 to 360°, with an accuracy of ±1°; the air temperature measurement range is -40°C to 85°C, with an accuracy of ±0.3°C; the air humidity measurement range is 0 to 100%RH, with an accuracy of ±2%RH; the atmospheric pressure measurement range is 300hPa to 1100hPa, with an accuracy of ±0.02hPa; the illumination measurement range is 0-100Klx, with an accuracy of ±3%; the optical rainfall measurement range is 0 to 4mm/min, with an accuracy of ±4%. It can be widely applied in multiple fields such as meteorological monitoring, urban environmental monitoring, wind power generation, navigation ships, aviation airports, bridges and tunnels, etc., providing powerful support for the accurate measurement and analysis of meteorological data.
