Radar Flow Meters use a non-contact monitoring method to monitor water velocity, water level and water volume data in rivers and open channels.The Radar Flow Meters developed by our company adopts K-band planar microstrip array antennas, which are concentrated in energy and have low power consumption.The instrument integrates functions such as vertical angle compensation, flow rate average, signal strength detection, serial communication control, etc.The equipment is not corroded by sewage and is not affected by sewage during the speed measurement of the contactless radar flow measurement system.The equipment is simple in civil engineering and less affected by water damage, which is easy to maintain and ensures personnel safety.It can not only be used for daily environmental monitoring, but also especially suitable for emergency and difficult observation tasks.

The installation diagram is shown in the figure.On-site installation can be achieved by bridges, brackets and other existing building foundations, but it is necessary to ensure that the emission direction of the flowmeter radar wave is parallel to the direction of the water flow, and the emission wave of the flowmeter is 45 to the water surface.The factory defaults to adjust the angle of 45°.
6.Precautions for installing Radar Flow Meters
1.Installation requires the selection of stable flow state, straight channel, away from the gate outlet, channel elbow position
2.Try to control the installation height within 5 meters (the closer the distance, the stronger the measurement signal and the more reliable the data)
3.The water flow rate is less than 0.25, and the water ripple is small, so it is feasible to measure unstable
