The FT-JL1 Automatic Monitoring Instrument for Runoff Sediment is a professional device used for real-time, automatic monitoring of soil erosion conditions. It can accurately measure runoff volume and sediment concentration, providing data support for environmental protection, disaster early warning, and engineering construction.
The FT-JL1 system operates through integrated sensor technology and data acquisition and transmission technology:Surface runoff first enters a standard open channel or Parshall flume through a diversion channel.The open channel flow sensor automatically measures water flow rate and calculates total runoff volume and instantaneous runoff data for different time periods.At the sediment measurement port in the vertical distribution of runoff, a sediment concentration sensor (usually based on the weighing principle) collects water samples in real-time.The collected water samples are sent to the system's sample chamber for testing. The sensor sends the data to the processor for processing to obtain sediment concentration data.After measurement is completed, the sample is automatically discharged, and the system prepares for the next sampling.All collected data, including sediment concentration and runoff volume, are summarized and processed by the data acquisition main controller, and uploaded to the cloud platform or local server in real-time through communication methods such as RS485. Users can remotely access and view the data through PC or mobile devices.
