The weather stations used in the agricultural field are called Agricultural Weather Stations. In order to better serve agricultural production, in addition to the conventional meteorological elements, Agricultural Weather Stations will also focus on increasing the monitoring of soil-related elements, such as soil moisture, temperature, and nutrients. This provides a scientific basis for agricultural irrigation and fertilization, and improves the utilization rate of water resources and fertilizers. Of course, they will also pay attention to the elements of the crop growth environment, such as light intensity, photosynthetically active radiation, and carbon dioxide concentration. The monitoring of light and radiation helps to understand the photosynthesis conditions of crops, and the monitoring of carbon dioxide concentration is of great significance for increasing the application of gaseous fertilizers in protected agriculture to improve yields.
Currently, Agricultural Weather Stations have achieved automation and intelligence. They can automatically collect and transmit data. With the help of intelligent sensors and data analysis technology, they can also automatically analyze and issue early warnings for meteorological data. For example, they will remind farmers to irrigate when the soil moisture is low, and promptly push early warning information to farmers when disastrous weather is approaching.
Sometimes, Agricultural Weather Stations will be reasonably planned according to the layout of farmland and the types of crops. Different crops have different requirements for meteorological conditions, and there are also differences in the topography and landforms of farmland. For large areas of farmland with a single type of crop, the weather stations are mostly arranged in the central area of the farmland or upwind of the dominant wind direction to obtain representative data. For farmland with multiple types of crops, multiple weather stations or monitoring points will be set up at key positions according to the planting areas and growth requirements of different crops to achieve accurate monitoring.
Of course, the preferred installation location for the weather stations is a place with convenient transportation and easy access, which is convenient for technicians to carry out daily maintenance, equipment inspection, and data collection. The installation height of the equipment and the design of the operation interface will also take into account the convenience of the operators, reducing the maintenance cost and operation difficulty.

In the field of wind power generation, wind measurement is of great significance. Traditional wind - measuring methods, such as wind towers or radars, are effective but have limitations. Wind towers can only measure at fixed locations, while radar equipment is expensive and bulky, making it difficul...
The Portable Weather Station (7-inch Android Touchscreen) is a device specifically designed for various meteorological monitoring scenarios. With "portability and practicality" as its core design concept, it features a lightweight build and a foldable, telescopic structure. It requires no...
The Portable Weather Station enhances monitoring convenience and efficiency with its lightweight, integrated design, meeting the demand for rapid and accurate acquisition of meteorological data across multiple fields. The core of achieving the lightweight and integrated design of such devices lies in...
Soil electrical conductivity (EC) is a critical indicator for measuring the content of soluble salts in soil, reflecting the total concentration of various ions in the soil solution or the ionic strength of water-soluble substances. When salts in the soil dissolve, they exist in ionic form—the high...
