The top cover hidden ultrasonic probe with physical shielding structure can effectively prevent rain and snow from accumulating on the probe surface to interfere with signal transmission and reception, and reduce the turbulence effect caused by direct impact of natural wind. This not only ensures measurement accuracy but also prolongs the service life of the probe. The snap-on probe design fixes components through mechanical snaps, solving the problem of looseness caused by transportation vibration or long-term use, ensuring stable posture after installation and avoiding data accuracy errors caused by human operation.
The sensor adopts the technology of transmitting continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and calculating wind speed and direction through relative phase difference, breaking through the limitation that traditional mechanical sensors need to reach a specific starting wind speed. It can detect weak wind speeds as low as 0.1m/s, and reduce environmental noise interference through frequency modulation technology to achieve fast dynamic response to wind speed and direction. The seven-element integrated design integrates temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, and light into one device, simplifying the deployment complexity of multi-device combinations, ensuring synchronous data collection of various elements, and avoiding spatio-temporal deviations in decentralized measurements.
The sensor is equipped with a built-in watchdog circuit, which can automatically reset in case of system abnormalities such as electromagnetic interference to ensure stable 7×24 operation. The solid-state structure design without moving parts eliminates the problem of mechanical wear. Combined with industrial-grade calibration algorithms and temperature compensation technology, it achieves long-term reliable operation without maintenance or on-site calibration. The housing is made of ASA engineering plastic, which is resistant to ultraviolet rays, high and low temperatures (-40°C~80°C), and impact. It is suitable for harsh environments such as high salt fog in coastal areas and strong ultraviolet rays on plateaus. The material is lightweight and durable, making it easy for high-altitude installation.
The sensor is standard with an RS485 communication interface (MODBUS protocol), supporting long-distance anti-interference communication, and can be optionally equipped with 232, USB, Ethernet and other interfaces to be compatible with different system architectures. The optional wireless transmission module (minimum 1-minute transmission interval) meets the remote monitoring needs of unmanned field scenarios, reducing cabling costs and improving deployment flexibility. It is widely applicable to professional monitoring fields such as meteorology, agriculture, transportation, and energy.
