An Automatic Weather Station is a field meteorological device that can automatically observe, store, and transmit meteorological elements. It realizes the entire process automation from data collection to transmission, and is widely used in meteorological forecasting, agriculture, environmental protection, transportation and other fields. Traditional Automatic Weather Stations mostly use mechanical wind speed and direction sensors, which are prone to wear, but the application of ultrasonic technology has changed this situation.
Fengtu® ultrasonic Automatic Weather Station uses ultrasonic time difference method to measure wind speed and direction. This technology detects wind speed and direction by emitting continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and measuring relative phases.
The principle is that the device arranges multiple pairs of ultrasonic probes in the measurement space, calculates the propagation time difference of ultrasonic waves in downwind and upwind directions, and combines trigonometric function algorithms to obtain real-time wind speed and direction data. This technology completely abandons mechanical rotating parts, fundamentally eliminating data deviations caused by mechanical wear, bearing jamming and other factors.

Anti-interference design: adopts top cover hidden ultrasonic probes, which can effectively avoid interference from rain and snow accumulation and natural wind shielding on measurements
Environmental adaptability: sensor housing uses imported ASA material with protection level reaching IP65 or above, effectively resisting harsh environments such as salt spray
Fengtu® ultrasonic Automatic Weather Station adopts a highly integrated all-in-one design, integrating monitoring of multiple meteorological elements into a single sensor. The product series covers different configurations from basic two-element (wind speed, wind direction) to twelve-element (including temperature, humidity, air pressure, optical rainfall, PM2.5, PM10 and various gas pollutants).
The device supports multiple data transmission methods including GPRS, Bluetooth, RS485, etc., to meet data receiving needs in different scenarios. Designed according to low power consumption requirements and combined with solar power supply system, it is very suitable for long-term field monitoring.
