Traditional weather stations often suffer from limitations such as complicated installation and fixed locations, making it difficult to meet the immediate data needs for on-site emergency weather events, field scientific research, or temporary activities. The FT-BQX6 Portable Weather Station was designed to address this. It is a highly integrated, low-power consumption device that can be rapidly deployed, providing reliable data for various short-term emergency observations and mobile weather monitoring scenarios. The station is widely applicable in fields such as meteorology, agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, oceanography, airports, ports, scientific expeditions, and campus education.
The FT-BQX6 features an integrated six-element sensor capable of simultaneously monitoring six meteorological parameters: wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and optical rainfall. The sensor housing is made of imported ABS material with an IP65 or higher protection rating, effectively resisting corrosion from harsh environments like salt fog.
The hidden ultrasonic probes in the top cover effectively avoid interference from rain/snow accumulation and natural wind obstruction for measurements. Wind speed and direction are measured using the principle of emitting continuous frequency-modulated ultrasonic signals and detecting relative phase shifts, ensuring high accuracy. The wind speed measurement range is 0–60 m/s with an accuracy of ±0.1 m/s, while the wind direction range is 0–360° with an accuracy of ±2°. Other parameters include an air temperature range of -40 to 80°C (±0.3°C), air humidity range of 0-100%RH (±3%RH), atmospheric pressure range of 300-1100 hPa (±0.25%), and optical rainfall range of 0-4 mm/min (error ≤±4%).
The device supports multiple data transmission methods, including wired, Bluetooth, and GPRS. It is also equipped with feature-rich PC software and an Android APP, allowing users to easily receive, view, and analyze data. It is powered by a built-in 12,000 mAh removable lithium battery, providing over 50 hours of battery life, and offers data storage capacity for no less than 500,000 entries. Weighing no more than 5 kg in total and including a shockproof protective trolley case and a retractable aluminum alloy tripod, the station can be fully deployed by a single person within two minutes, truly enabling "set up and go" monitoring.
