Water Hardness Tester can monitor water hardness and chloride ion levels online, record and store historical and alarm data, support data export, and facilitate integration with automation systems via RS485 MODBUS-RTU communication. It is suitable for boiler water, circulating cooling water, drinking water, and wastewater treatment scenarios.
Water Hardness Tester can perform online monitoring of water hardness and chloride ion levels, quickly acquiring and outputting key internal parameters of the water body, helping personnel to monitor water quality changes in real time. This device uses a contact electrode method to measure water hardness and an ion-selective electrode method to measure chloride ions. The water hardness measurement range is 0-1000.0 mg/L, and the chloride ion measurement range is 0-3500.0 mg/L. Temperature compensation ensures stable and reliable measurement results under different operating conditions. A resolution of 0.1 mg/L can capture subtle changes in water parameters, meeting the needs of industrial field monitoring.
The Water Hardness Tester device supports expansion with multi-parameter sensors, allowing users to configure combinations based on their project conditions. The device's local storage module can completely save historical monitoring data and alarm records, which can be directly exported later for process review and report compilation, eliminating the tedious process of manual paper recording. Equipped with an RS485 interface and compatible with the MODBUS-RTU communication protocol, the device can stably connect to industrial automation equipment such as PLCs, DCSs, configuration software, and DTUs, enabling data upload and remote reading, integrating into the entire water treatment automation system.
The Water Hardness Tester device is primarily designed for hardness testing of softener effluent and boiler water, and is widely used in drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, and industrial circulating cooling water. Industrial circulating cooling water systems are prone to excessive hardness and scaling problems during long-term operation; abnormal boiler feedwater hardness can pose equipment safety hazards; drinking water treatment requires control of water ion levels; and wastewater treatment processes also need to track ion changes.
Using Water Hardness Tester can replace a large amount of manual sampling and testing work, enabling uninterrupted on-site monitoring. When water quality parameters exceed the set threshold, an alarm can be triggered, facilitating timely adjustments to the water treatment process by maintenance personnel, reducing the risk of equipment scaling and damage, improving the operational stability of the water treatment system, and lowering the labor costs of on-site maintenance.
