In the field of photovoltaic power generation, accurate environmental data monitoring is crucial for improving power generation efficiency, and all of this is inseparable from reliable professional equipment.
The Photovoltaic Weather Station FT-WQX8B is a comprehensive environmental monitoring device launched by Fengtu Technology specifically designed for photovoltaic power stations. It implements eight key environmental parameters through a highly integrated structure and can conduct 24-hour continuous online monitoring of the photovoltaic power station environment.
The FT-WQX8B adopts ultrasonic monitoring technology, which detects wind speed and direction by emitting continuous frequency-variable ultrasonic signals and measuring relative phases, effectively overcoming the need for high-precision timers in traditional weather instruments. It avoids measurement inaccuracies caused by sensor startup delays, demodulation circuit delays, and temperature changes.
Wind speed measurement range is 0-60m/s with an accuracy of ±0.1m/s; wind direction measurement range is 0-360° with an accuracy of ±2°; air temperature measurement range is -40-80℃ with an accuracy of ±0.3℃.
This Photovoltaic Weather Station can simultaneously monitor parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, air pressure, total thermoelectric radiation, total daily cumulative radiation, and module temperature (backsheet temperature).
The total thermoelectric radiation is integrated on the top of the miniature weather station with an adjustable angle of 0-50°, while the backsheet temperature is connected in parallel with the miniature weather station through a 6-hole expansion box, facilitating on-site installation and commissioning by customers.
The highly integrated design enables multiple parameters to be achieved through a single device without the need for multiple independent sensors, greatly simplifying the system architecture.
The top cover of the FT-WQX8B adopts a hidden ultrasonic probe, and this unique design can effectively avoid interference from rain and snow accumulation and natural wind obstruction.
The device uses ASA engineering plastic for outdoor applications, which does not change color for many years, has excellent weather resistance and UV resistance, and is suitable for various harsh outdoor environments.
The probe features a snap-on design, which solves the problem of looseness and inaccuracy during transportation and installation, ensuring stability during long-term use.
The product is designed with RS485 communication interface as standard for output signals, supporting MODBUS protocol; optional 232, USB, and Ethernet interfaces are available, supporting real-time data reading.
Users can optionally configure a wireless transmission module with a minimum transmission interval of 1 minute to meet data transmission requirements in different scenarios.
Eight parameters can be output to users at once through the digital communication interface, simplifying the data collection process.
The FT-WQX8B Photovoltaic Environmental Monitor has been widely used in fields such as photovoltaic power generation, meteorological monitoring, urban environmental monitoring, and wind power generation. Its precise environmental data monitoring capability provides effective data assurance for solar power generation quality assessment and power station design, helping photovoltaic power stations achieve more efficient power generation efficiency and more scientific operation and maintenance management.

Ground-based fixed monitoring points are limited by their installation locations and can only reflect visibility conditions in specific areas, making it difficult to cover the airspace above vast or complex terrains. For example, in mountainous areas, canyons, coastal regions, etc., there may be dif...
