The EL series of DC power supply is an important equipment in the testing link of the photovoltaic industry.
It is specially used to provide power support for EL (Electroluminescence) testing of photovoltaic modules. In the production process of photovoltaic modules, EL testing is a key means to detect internal defects, fragments, hidden cracks and other problems of battery cells. When performing EL imaging detection on the module, a certain voltage or current needs to be applied to the module to make it emit light, and the EL series of DC power supply undertakes the task of providing this power.
In terms of structural composition, it is equipped with a power output module, which can output stable direct current. Only a stable power supply can ensure the constancy of current or voltage during the EL test and the accuracy and reliability of the obtained image data. It is also equipped with a control module, which facilitates operators to accurately set the output voltage and current parameters to meet the specific power requirements of different models and specifications of photovoltaic modules during EL testing.
As for the working principle, during the EL test, the string power supply is connected to the corresponding electrodes of the photovoltaic module. After the power supply is turned on, power is delivered to the module according to the preset parameters, causing the battery cells to produce electroluminescence. At this time, the supporting imaging system (such as a CCD camera, etc.) can capture the light emitted by the battery cells inside the module, convert these optical signals into image signals, and generate EL images for analysis. Through observing and analyzing the images, operators can determine whether there are various quality problems inside the module, such as hidden cracks, black cores, broken grids, etc.
In actual operation, since the string power supply is a high-voltage equipment with high-power DC output, safety needs to be paid special attention. There is usually a specially customized program control system for the photovoltaic power station scenario. In order to ensure the stability and safety of string detection, it generally uses high-quality imported electronic components and is equipped with an open programming host. The designs of remote interfaces, program control panels, etc., also enable users to conveniently achieve remote control and management of the power supply, improving the operation efficiency of the power station.
