Transmission Line Weather Station is a specialized device designed to monitor the local meteorological environment surrounding power distribution lines. Its role is to ensure the safe and stable operation of power grids.
Since distribution lines are long-term exposed in the field, they are vulnerable to harsh weather conditions such as strong winds, heavy rains, ice, and snow, which may cause line failures and affect power supply safety. By real-time monitoring the micro-meteorological environment of the line corridor, this sensor can issue timely warnings and provide data support for power departments to take protective measures.
TianQiong is one of the manufacturers engaged in R&D and production of such sensors. The company focuses on the promotion and application of ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensors and micro-meteorological solutions, with full-chain capabilities from R&D to sales. TianQiong's micro-meteorological monitoring products mainly include two models: one is the six-element micro-meteorological instrument (FT-WQX6), and the other is the transmission line micro-meteorological online monitoring system (FT-DQX6) integrated with this meteorological instrument.
These products can perform integrated monitoring of six key meteorological parameters: wind speed, wind direction, ambient temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall.
