In terms of technical performance, each measurement channel of ambient weather station handheld possesses high accuracy specifications. The measurement range for wind speed and average wind speed is 0 to 60 m/s, with an accuracy of ±0.3 m/s and a resolution of 0.01 m/s; the measurement range for wind direction is 0 to 360°, with an accuracy of ±3° and a resolution of 0.1°; the measurement range for temperature is -40 to 125°C, with an accuracy of ±0.2°C and a resolution of 0.1°C; the measurement range for humidity is 0 to 100%RH, with an accuracy of ±2%RH and a resolution of 0.1%RH; and the measurement range for atmospheric pressure is 30 to 110 kPa, with an accuracy of ±0.1 kPa and a resolution of 0.01 kPa. The device has a built-in 3.5-inch LCD screen that can display various measurement data in real time.

The built-in electronic compass can monitor wind direction 360 degrees and supports switching between automatic and manual wind direction reading. The high-capacity FLASH storage chip can store up to 40,000 meteorological data entries, with data recording intervals adjustable between 1 and 60 minutes. A Type-C communication interface allows users to easily export data for further processing and analysis. Additionally, an optional external 4G module can be installed to instantly upload collected meteorological data to the cloud or a designated server, enabling remote monitoring and data analysis.
For auxiliary measurements, ambient weather station handheld can also simultaneously measure extended parameters such as altitude, thermal index, wet-bulb temperature, wave height, dew point temperature, wind chill index, and GNSS tri-mode positioning. The GNSS tri-mode positioning module supports high-precision positioning and timing, and can be optionally equipped with a single BeiDou mode. The main unit measures 167×80×30mm and weighs approximately 363g. Its scientifically designed structure facilitates portability and outdoor operation. An optional tripod is available to adapt to different observation scenarios.
